Aunque se previó su lanzamiento antes, por problemas provocados por la pandemia el álbum “Duets”de Sting sale al mercado el 19 de marzo de 2021. 

Además de CD también está disponible en una edición de 2 LP en vinilo que incluye notas de Sting. También una edición limitada con la portada autografiada.

El disco viene a ser un recorrido melódico por el mundo de la mano de Sting cantando desde «Desert Rose» con el argelino Cheb Mami hasta “Fragile” con el español Julio Iglesias.

No por gusto tanto el CD como los LP están encabezados por una deliciosa Little Something con la jazzista estadounidense Melody Gardot.

La parte caribeña la aporta junto a Shaggy con 44/876 y desde Francia Charles Aznavour se acopla con Sting en L’amour C’est Comme Un Jour.

The Police y Sting

Con más de 100 millones de discos vendidos, Sting se dio a conocer con la banda The Police, junto a Stewart Copeland y Andy Summers. 

Apenas 5 álbumes bastaron al grupo para obtener 6 premios GRAMMY® y dos Brits, además de ser incluidos en el Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll en 2003.

Como solista Sting ha obtenido otros 11 premios GRAMMY®, dos Brits, un Globo de Oro, un Emmy, cuatro nominaciones al Oscar, una nominación a TONY y el premio Century de la revista Billboard, entre otros. 

Desde 2003 es Comandante de la Orden del Imperio Británico por sus contribución a la música.
